Biography

Janice and Peter Hodson own, manage and operate West Winds Riding Centre.  We have been in operation since 2001.  Janice has been involved with horses since she was 9 years old, and her passion for horses has made a dream come true with the opening and running of West Winds with her husband Peter. 

Peter Hodson manages the horses and the boarders and maintenance of the property and equipment and hay production.

Janice Hodson teaches riding lessons and runs the summer camps.  She is certified with the CHA, the NAPHTR, and Equine Canada.  Janice has an Equine Science Certificate with the University of Guelph, and is has a First Aid Cetification.
