Janice and Peter Hodson own,
manage and operate West Winds
Riding Centre. We have been in
operation since 2001. Janice
has been involved with horses
since she was 9 years old, and
her passion for horses has made
a dream come true with the
opening and running of West
Winds with her husband Peter.
Peter Hodson manages the horses
and the boarders and maintenance
of the property and equipment
and hay production.
Janice Hodson teaches riding
lessons and runs the summer
camps. She is certified with
the CHA Coach Level 1, the NAPHTR,
and achieved
her National Coaching
Certification for Instructor of
Beginners in the summer of 2008,
Janice has an Equine Science and
Equine Business Certificate with the
University of Guelph, and is has
a First Aid Certification.
She will now be working on an
Equine Science Degree, and NCCP
Coach Level 1.
